Vorda Style is an online clothing and footwear store for women and men in the United States. We sell the kind of everyday pieces we kept looking for ourselves and could never quite find: well made, easy to wear, and priced so you don't have to think twice.

The idea came out of a fairly ordinary problem. Affordable clothes often felt cheap and didn't last, and the things that did last cost more than they should. We thought there was room for a middle ground, so we started building one, one piece at a time.

We began with a small range of coats, knitwear and dresses, and paid attention to what people actually came back for. Some things worked, some didn't, and the range grew from there. Menswear followed because the people shopping with us kept asking for it. We are not trying to put out a hundred new drops a season. We would rather get a smaller number of pieces right and keep the ones people genuinely love wearing.

Fit and fabric are where we spend most of our time. Before a style goes live we look at how it is cut, what it is made of, and whether it will still look right after it has been worn and washed a dozen times. If it doesn't pass that, it doesn't make the cut.

For her, the range covers coats and jackets, sweaters and knitwear, dresses and shoes. For him, coats and jackets, sweaters, shirts and shoes: the everyday pieces that quietly do most of the work in a wardrobe.
